Landscape that speaks

When I saw a deserted Salton City I was overwhelemd by the emptyness, lonelyness and saddness of this place. I was tempted to portray it in a traditional way but then I realised that landscape photography is more than just showing the reality around. It is all about interpretation. That's why I worked together with an actor, Campbell Sadeghy and asked him to filter the landscape through his emmotions. That's how we created a series of portraits of that place, giving life to it, making it sepak thorugh his performance.
